The Umbrella Program – Accessible and Adapted Volunteering Programs
In order to increase and strengthen the volunteering spirit among medical students, we examined the reasons why students are unable to volunteer. A survey conducted last year revealed that the large majority of the students believe that volunteering and community involvement are an important part in our lives, and that the main difficulty in the student's life is the limited free time.
In addition, it was found that most students can cope with volunteering in a framework that will not be overly demanding, at an estimated time of one hour per week / two weeks. In order to leverage and promote this idea, we have prepared and gathered for you over the past year a large inventory of associations and organizations in which you can find a voluntary framework. We've outlined the time frames you need for each organization, and now all you have to do is specify when you want to volunteer: day, hour, and frequency. We will arrange a volunteering program for you.
Moreover, we note that the activity will be coordinated as much as possible with the "Volunteering Eligibility" program, and we will make every effort to enable the receipt of the credit for community involvement in accordance with the number of hours invested.
Already confused by all the voluntary associations, volunteering days and projects? Let us help you, just choose a day, time and frequency. We saved you the research, the indecision and the clarifications, all you have to do is the main thing, to volunteer.
