Academic Status

The academic status of a student at the Technion can be either "satisfactory” or “unsatisfactry”.

Academic Status Advisors - we are here to help

The Student Association, accompanied by the Academic Committee, wants to help the students.

Our goal is to accompany students in an unsatisfactory academic status in dealing with various Technion officials, with the aim of assisting the students to succeed in their studies and to help them return to the regular course of study.

 

About the process:

First, in order to make the process more efficient - you may wish to complete the following electronic form -

The purpose of the form is to help us understand the whole picture. Next, one of the academic status advisors will contact you.

While, using the information presented in the form, we will know where to direct you and how to help you best.

 

How can we help?

- Assuring the faculty really sees the whole picture before tagging a student with the title "unsatisfactory academic status"

- Preparing you to stand in front of the conference (if necessary)

- Trying to understand together which steps should be taken, and how to cope with the situation

- Guiding you to whom to turn to continue the process, including -

 

o Application to the faculty                                         o Help with financial support

o Application to the Technion                                      o Mentoring ("big brother")

o Unit for the Advancement of Students                       o and more
