Do you want to be a tutor?

The PAKAL office is looking for undergraduate students who achieved a grade over 90 in the course they would like to teach, or advanced degree students, with a teaching ability. Students who meet these requirements are invited to send their grades transcript and CV to the PAKAL coordinator.

What is a PAKAL?

PAKAL (translated abbreviation of “Group Learning Project”) are reinforcement lessons given in small groups of up to 16 students by the best tutors, at a discounted cost.

Exam PAKAL

The PAKAL is taught throughout the semester and its aim is to provide extra practice for the material taught in class. The pace of the PAKAL is parallel to the pace at which the lecturer teaches the course.

During the PAKAL, we will teach theory which covers the important aspects of the course, with a focus on developing intuition on how to approach answering questions. There is time in class for attempting to solve the questions alone, with personal attention provided to each student. We will solve questions from exams to expose the students to the exam standards during the semester. The aim of this is to minimize the workload around exam time and to reduce stress, so students are calmer and more prepared for the exams period.
